His work shows the relationship to the memorial past of painting is still underlying. There we discover graphic and pictorial fragments of old works, from which details of art images resurface, as if torn from time, updated, torn to pieces. Torn, superimposed, intertwined, these heterogeneous and anachronistic collages play with eclecticism on the heterogeneous, the hybrid, the chimera, to still and despite everything appear in the present. The pictorial fabric exposes its layers, its traces, its coverings; the fragment hides a detail, a gesture is lost, a mask obliterates a look, one writing is drowned under another and the whole, as if immobilized under the layer of wax.
