Brief presentation

The exhibition “Fils et Feuilles” highlights thread and sheet, two fundamental materials in contemporary art. Through a selection of varied works, the exhibition explores the creative possibilities offered by these elements, while highlighting the importance of recovery and recycling. The artists experiment with techniques such as weaving, assembly, folding and collage, often integrating recovered materials to give new life to objects destined to be discarded. This eco-responsible approach evokes themes of connection, transformation and ephemerality. The exhibition invites visitors to discover a world where textile and paper meet, offering an enriching sensory experience and a reflection on the diversity of materials in art, while raising awareness of the need to preserve our environment.

To submit your works:

• Download the application form.
• Read carefully and complete the application form.
• Send by email or post the completed application form, as well as images of your works in 300 dpi in JPEG format, your artistic approach or a short presentation (maximum 5 lines, approximately 400 characters) in Word or PDF format to contact@hybridscrib.com.
• For artists selected during the selection, please note that this is a self-funded exhibition; payment can be made by check or bank transfer.
• The selection results will be announced in April 2025.
• Unselected artists will be refunded their participation fee within one week of notification.
