“Modern boxes” is a collage that presents a non-proportional composition featuring two different women. Parts of the two women's faces are mixed together to form a disfigured and intriguing image. Each woman is represented by a different eye, which reinforces the idea of ​​two distinct characters merged into a single being. The composition of the work is behavioral, highlighting the divisions and categorizations that can exist in our society. The two women represent different archetypes, and their merging into a single image challenges the norms and expectations imposed by our culture. “Modern boxes” invites reflection on the stereotypes, prejudices and social expectations that can limit our understanding and acceptance of diversity. The artist uses collage to create a deliberately distorted image, highlighting the importance of challenging aesthetic norms and preconceived ideas in our society. This work encourages us to embrace the complexity and richness of individual identities, beyond the limits imposed by boxes and social expectations.
