Illusion (d'optique)

As a contemporary work, "(Optical) Illusion" invites reflection on the subjective nature of perception and explores the notions of appearance, reality and deception. The artist explores the concept of optical illusion using techniques and materials that challenge traditional expectations of representation. The work consists of an accumulation of doll "sleeping eyes" arranged on an old frame. This unexpected combination creates visual and cognitive tension, inviting the viewer to question their perception and challenge apparent reality. The use of found objects and unconventional materials is a common feature of contemporary art, it embodies the constant search for new forms of expression and the questioning of established norms in the contemporary artistic field.
