Deconfinement of quarks and gluons
Deconfinement of quarks and gluons
During the first confinement, I painted individual portraits of members of an imaginary family that I called 'Rick's family' inspired by the universe of fashion designer Rick Owen. In the siblings,
I wanted a child at the tender age. Under construction, under construction, 'unfinished', naive and romantic. He twirls carefree with that innocent seduction of a cherub.
An image of total freedom where everything can go off in all directions in a joyful release of excitement.
In physics, deconfinement, or 'release', is a phase of matter in which certain particles are allowed to exist as free excitations, rather than just in bound states.
In the Big Bang theory, quark-gluon plasma filled the entire Universe before matter as we know it was created.
